• PFA Ireland player of the year nominees announced
  • Nominees announced for the player of the year awards

    The nominees for the 2015 PFA Ireland player of the year awards were announced today.

    Dundalk have three players up for the trophy; Daryl Horgan, Stephen O'Donnell and Richie Towell. Cork City's Mark O'Sullivan is also nominated.

    Nominees for young player of the year, Irish overseas player of the year and referee of the year were also confirmed, and the the premier division team of the year sponsored by EA SPORTS™ was also revealed.

    The manager of the year nominees will be announced after the FAI Cup Final between Cork City and Dundalk on Sunday 8 November 2015.

    The prestigious PFA Ireland Awards will take place on Friday 20 November 2015 at the Gibson Hotel, Point Village, Dublin 1.
