Show Racism the Red Card (SRTRC) launched its programme of activities for 2010/2011 at the home of Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium on Wednesday 22 September 2010. The PFAI was represented at the launch by General Secretary Stephen McGuinness and Delegate Liaison Officer Ollie Cahill. The PFAI also organised the attendance of Shamrock Rovers defender Aidan Price, St Patrick's Athletic forward Ryan Guy and Sporting Fingal forward Eamon Zayed. Basketball Ireland was represented by Jolie Niland. The event was sponsored by the Embassy of the United States of America and was attended by The US chargé d'affaires, John Hennessey Niland, as well as the Minister for Integration Mary White T.D., and Mayor of South Dublin, Cllr Eamon Maloney. SRTRC Co-ordinator, Garrett Mullan, organised the attendance of over 150 school children from St Aidan's Community School, Old Bawn Community School, St Dominic's Secondary and Castaheany Educate Together. The launch was a great success and everyone involved was satisfied by enthusiasm shown by the children and players in the questions and answers session.
