ROVERS REMAIN 5 POINTS CLEAR

Shamrock Rovers maintain their five point lead at the top of the premier division following a 4-1 win over UCD at Tallaght on Monday night.  St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians keep up the pressure on the league leaders as they both recorded victories over Sporting Fingal and Drogheda United respectively.

Gary Twigg scored his 12 goal of the season  as Rovers scored four goals in consecutive games (against Bray and UCD).  St Pat's came from behind to secure a late 3-2 win over Sprting Fingal at Morton Stadium and Bohemians secured a 1-o win over Drogheda.
