There was a full programme in the premier division on Monday; St Patrick's Athletic stretched their lead at the top of the table, Bohemians and UCD got back to winning ways, and Bray Wanderers secured their first win of the campaign. Elsewhere, Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers finished level. Paul Byrne and Stuart Byrne scored the goals as Pat's beat Galway Untied at Terryland Park, and with Bray recording a a 3-2 win over Dundalk at Oriel Park Pat's extend their lead at the top of the Airtricity League to three points. Robbie Doyle scored an injury time winner for Bray. Shamrock Rovers were held to a 1-1 draw; Gary Twigg gave the home side the lead on six minutes and former Tallaght frontman, Padraig Amond, grabbed the equaliser thirty minutes later. Two goals either side of half time from Greg Bolger and Cirarn Kilduff gave UCD victory over Drogheda United and Bohemians scored twice just before the break to see off Sporting Fingal at Morton Stadium. Paul Keegan and Gareth McGlynn scored to secure a welcome three points for Pat Fenlon's team.
