The PFAI Players’ Player of the Year Awards Banquet is an annual event and it is the biggest night of the football calendar as players, past and present, members of the football industry and the media gather to pay tribute to the League of Ireland elite players who are honoured by their fellow professionals which is the ultimate tribute for any player.

The Awards ceremony is also a time where we pay tribute to the rising stars with the Young Player of the Year award, First Division Player of the Year award, Referee of the Year and the Special Merit Award. Also the Premier Division and First Division Teams of the Year are unveiled.
